Exotica Dreamville is a proud presentation by Exotica. The project has contemporary design and detailed planning which is a proof of high-quality architecture. Mr. Vijay Kesari contacted us to have his dream home design ideas come to life. Although the room sizes are a little small, the place is full of fresh air and plenty of sunlight. After discussing with Mr. Kesari and his family, we got to know that they are more into modern design style and we went forward with there ideas accordingly. We really had a lot of fun cocreating this space because of the amount of freedom they provided us.
Being the first room you get into as soon as you enter, the living room should be welcoming and fresh. The simplest and most economical way to give the space a new lease of life without making any big adjustments is definitely the addition of an indoor plant to the living room. We used a metal frame as a partition as well as a hanging unit to beautifully place some unique plat pots to bring greenery to the room. Read our blog on Adding Greenery to the room for more such ideas. An L-shaped cream coloured sofa provides ample amount of seating space. A wooden table with white marble top really completes the seating area. The back wall of sofa has brick pattern stone and wooden strips on both of the sides to give modern look.
The wall behind TV Unit is also similar to the opposite wall with multiple wooden slabs for displaying artifacts. The TV unit has a pitch-black laminate to create a perfect contrast with the lighter tone of the room.
According to availability of space, to have maximum space to freely move around the kitchen and to provide good amount of storage we went with L-shaped kitchen counter with an elevated breakfast counter at the end. The modular kitchen has storage units below and above the white marble countertop and a dedicated storage unit along the other wall. Cream colored laminate is used to continue with the theme and the upper storage units were given dark wooden texture for contrast.
The Kitchen has good amount of light and additionally couple of hanging lights were placed above the breakfast counter.
We really loved designing the kids’ room because of the freedom given to us to play with variety of colors. Now a days kids spend most of the time in their rooms so the design should be engaging for them. We used patterned pastel multicolor walls for the room with wooden flooring. The twin bed has a side structure as suggested by Mr. Kesari and is completely white colored. It has stairs on the wall side.
The opposite wall has a full-length storage unit with unique pink and cyan combination laminates, giving plenty of space to store all the toys that kids have.
